Proof-to-Pay is a product of Viet Ventures LLC.
We collect what the product needs to work: your account details, your crew's names and numbers, and the job information you enter — including your customers' details and the photos your crew takes. We never see or hold your money, we never see card numbers, we don't sell data to anyone, and we don't use tracking cookies. The rest of this page is the specifics.
Proof-to-Pay is operated by Viet Ventures LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means Viet Ventures LLC.
When you create an account: your name, email address, and phone number. When you set up your business: business name, phone, email, website, timezone, logo, and your payment handles (for example, your Venmo username).
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never receive your Google password.
If you invite a worker, we store the name and phone number you enter. Workers who open a job from a text link don't create an account, so we hold nothing else about them. Workers who choose to set up a login also have an email address on file.
To do its job, Proof-to-Pay stores information about people who never signed up with us — your customers. That includes their name, phone number, email if you add one, the property address, the photos your crew takes of the work, and what they were charged.
That information belongs to your business, not to us. We process it on your behalf so we can produce and deliver the service record. We don't market to your customers, sell their information, or use it for anything besides running the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to enter their information, and for what you send them.
Every service record and worker job link has a long, random, unguessable web address. Anyone who has the link can open it — that's deliberate, because your customer shouldn't need an account or a password to see their record. It also means the link is only as private as the people you send it to. The same is true of the photo files themselves.
We tell search engines not to index record or job links, so they shouldn't appear in search results. Don't post a record link publicly unless you intend for it to be public.
Proof-to-Pay does not process, hold, transmit, or take a percentage of the money your customers pay you. The pay button on a service record opens your own Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash App. The payment happens between your customer and you, through that provider, under that provider's terms and privacy policy.
We never see or store your bank credentials or your customers' card numbers. When a job is marked paid, that's a status you or your crew set — we're not observing your bank account.
Subscription billing runs through Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID, your subscription status, and when the current period ends.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which are cookieless— no tracking cookies, no cross-site profile of you. They tell us page views, referring sites, campaign tags on links, rough location at the country level, device type, and page speed. That's why you don't see a cookie banner here: we're not setting tracking cookies to consent to.
Inside the product, we record job events so the app works and so an owner knows what happened — for example, that a record was sent, that a customer opened it, or that a pay button was tapped.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising. We use these companies to run the service, and they receive only what they need:
Supabase — database, file storage, and login (hosted in the United States). Vercel — application hosting and cookieless analytics (United States). Stripe — subscription billing. Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our rights. If Viet Ventures LLC ever sells this business, account data would transfer with it and we'd tell you first.
We keep your account and job data while your account is open, because your service records are your business history. If you close your account and ask us to delete it, we will — permanently, within 30 days — except anything we're legally required to keep, like billing records.
You can see and edit your business information and payment handles in Settings. Email us to request a copy of your data or to have your account deleted. If you're a customer of a business that uses Proof-to-Pay and you want your information removed, contact that business — it's their record, and they can delete it. If you can't reach them, email us and we'll help.
Proof-to-Pay is a tool for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell account holders by email.
