Terms of Service

Proof-to-Pay turns your crew's job photos into a service record your customer can pay from. We are not a payment processor — the money goes straight from your customer to your own Venmo or Zelle, and we never touch it. $39 a month, unlimited crew, free until the product has been paid on 10 jobs. Cancel anytime. The rest is the specifics.

Proof-to-Pay is operated by Viet Ventures LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. By using it you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

You create a job and send it to a worker. The worker captures before and after photos from a link. You review and approve. We generate a service record and give you a link to send your customer, containing the proof, the total, and a button that opens your payment app.

Proof-to-Pay is not scheduling software, accounting software, or an estimating tool, and it doesn't replace them.

This is the most important thing on this page. Proof-to-Pay does not process, hold, transmit, escrow, or take a percentage of payments. We are not a bank, a money transmitter, or a payment service provider.

The pay button on a service record is a link that opens the payment app you chose, pointed at the handle you entered, for the amount youset. The payment is a transaction between you and your customer, governed by that payment provider's terms.

That means: you are responsible for the accuracy of your payment handle.We verify that the handle resolves to a real account and show you the account holder's name so you can confirm it's yours before you use it — but you confirm it, and if you enter someone else's handle, payments will go to them. We can't reverse, refund, or recover a payment, because it never passes through us.

Disputes about the work, the amount, or a payment are between you and your customer.

Keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your crew does. Job and record links contain long random tokens; anyone with a link can open it, so treat them like you'd treat a document you handed someone. You must be 18 or older and using this for a business.

You're responsible for having the right to enter your customers' information and to photograph the work, and for what you send them. We store and process that information on your behalf to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't use Proof-to-Pay to send anything unlawful, harassing, or deceptive.

Your photos, records, business information, and customer data belong to you. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to run the service for you — hosting the photos, generating the record, showing it to the customer you sent it to. Nothing else. We don't use your photos in our marketing without asking you first.

Free to start. You pay nothing until 10 of your jobs have been paid through a Proof-to-Pay record. No card required to sign up.

$39 per month after that. Everything included: unlimited jobs, unlimited customers, unlimited crew members. No per-user fees. We take 0% of your payments.

The first 20 businesses to subscribe get founding pricing of $29 per month. We intend to honor that, so here is exactly what we mean by it:

Your $29 rate holds for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. It survives future price increases for everyone else. If you cancel and come back later, you'll pay whatever the standard price is then — the founding rate doesn't come back with you.

If Viet Ventures LLC ever sells or transfers Proof-to-Pay, we will require the buyer to honor founding pricing, or give you at least 90 days' written notice before it changes. If we shut the service down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your records.

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime from the billing page — it takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and we don't prorate partial months.

If the product broke and you paid for a month you couldn't use, email us and we'll refund it. We'd rather do that than argue about it. If a payment fails, we'll retry; if it keeps failing, access to the owner app pauses — but your records stay intact and your customers' existing links keep working.

Proof-to-Pay is new. Features will change, some things will break, and your feedback shapes what gets built. That's the trade for founding pricing. We're not promising uptime guarantees or a support SLA — it's currently one person, and that person answers email.

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will get you paid.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Viet Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost payments, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, if you're on the free tier, is zero. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

You can stop using Proof-to-Pay and delete your account anytime. We can suspend or close an account that violates these terms or that we're legally required to close. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and email account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
